Ready Set Play FAQs

What is the recommended age/height for Ready. Set. Play?
Our play space is appropriate for children 49″ in height or less. 49″ is the maximum allowed height for the play space.  Children over 49″ in height, may sit in the cafe. They are not permitted in the large play structure.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX, and cash. (No checks) 

Does everyone have to take off their shoes?
Yes.  All Crawling/Toddlers/Children and adults are required to wear socks in our play area. No shoes are allowed beyond the check-in desk.

How long can we stay at Ready. Set. Play.?
There is a 2 hour time limit. We want to make sure all children get the chance to enjoy play time. 2 hours gives your child enough time to get the energy. On slower days you can add an hour for only $6-

Do you sell food and/or drinks?
We have a snack bar. Which sells Coffee/Juice Boxes/Energy Drinks and prepackaged snacks.

How often are toys cleaned? Our toys are sprayed with a non toxic spray that does not allow any bad germs or viruses to live on the surface of those toys. Any toy put in a child’s mouth is placed in a yucky basket and cleaned before being put back.

Do you have an area for breastfeeding?
We do not have a specific “breastfeeding area”. Breastfeeding is welcome in any area of Ready. Set. Play., but if you would like a more private area, we can offer our party room if it is not in use. 

Do you have a changing table?
Yes, both of our bathrooms are equipped with a changing table.

Does Ready. Set. Play. have free WiFi?
Yes. Password is located in cafe area

Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes.  You may purchase them at our check-in desk or over the phone and we can mail them to you.

Are you closed on holidays?
Yes, we are closed on the following holidays:
Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve (Closing early) and Christmas Day 

Can I drop my children off for Open Play?
Only when we run Date Night drop off events. This is an event that your child needs to be preregistered for and a deposit must be placed to hold their spots.

Is your facility wheelchair accessible?
Our facility is ADA compliant – We are street-level, have a handicapped accessible bathroom.

What if my child has sensory issues or special needs?
We ask that you call us prior to your visit, we may be able to bring your child in before we open to the public. We will try our best to help every child enjoy play time.

Parents

Parents/Guardians are always welcome to assist their children inside the play structures. Two Adults per child are free. Additional adults $6 each.

In addition, we offer the following for parents/guardians:
• Relax on comfortable sofas or at our café tables
• Charge laptops and phones
• Enjoy Free WIFI throughout
• Grab a cup of coffee/tea and relax (Free coffee refills with purchase)
• Gather and socialize with other parents

Ready. Set. Play. is designed to give parents easy visuals of their children while they are playing. The toddler area designed solely for ages crawling to 2 years old is located directly next to the parent’s lounge, giving parents of young toddlers the chance to sit and relax while your little one can still see you and play. We also welcome parents and/or guardians to play along side your child.

Birthday Party FAQs

What time should my guests and I arrive at the party?
We ask that the Party Host arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled party time to unload the car, check-in the Guest of Honor & family and be there to greet party guests. Party guests are encouraged to arrive as close to the scheduled party time as possible.

Will there be a Ready. Set. Play staff member available to assist me in the party room?
Yes! A staff member will be available to assist you in the party room.

Is a deposit required to book a Party?
A $50 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to confirm your reservation for open play parties and $100 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit for private parties.
You cannot book without a deposit.
ALL Deposits are non-refundable.
If you do need to cancel the party, we will work with you to find another date and time that will work best for you within three months of the original party date. Your original deposit will be applied towards your re-scheduled party.

How many guests can I invite?
For the comfort and safety of all guests, party headcount may not exceed 25 (adults/kids combined) inside the Private Party Room during an “Open Play” party. 

How do I schedule a Ready. Set. Play. party?
It’s easy! You can book by phone or in person.

What if I need to reschedule/cancel my party?
Advance Notice: 10 days advance notice is required to reschedule your event from its original date.
Rescheduling: If you reschedule or cancel your event less than 10 days prior to its original date, your deposit is non-refundable. Rescheduling is subject to availability & not guaranteed.
If you reschedule & host your event within 3 Months of the original date, the deposit will apply towards your new party date. 
Cancel: Again, If you do need to cancel the party, we will work with you to find another date and time that will work best for you within 3 months of original party date. Your original deposit will be applied towards your re-scheduled party.

What are your standard weekend party start times?
Weekend Parties: Friday 4:15pm-6:15pm, Saturday at 11am-1pm or 3:45pm, Sunday at 11:00am or 2pm.
Private Parties: Start at 4:15pm on weekdays. Sunday is only private parties.

Reservations: Based on availability at the time of booking with deposit paid. (A $50-$100 deposit is required to confirm your reservation.)

What food items can be brought into the facility?
There will be no refrigerator/freezer. Plan accordingly.
FOOD ITEMS: Cake, Cupcakes, Cookies, or Birthday dessert. Prepackaged Chips/Pretzels/Veggie Straws in unopened bags. You may bring soda/bottled water/juice boxes. FOOD ONLY FROM A GROCERY STORE OR RESTAURANT IS PERMITTED. You may order a pizza with one of our pizza birthday packages.  We provide Lemonade, juice boxes or bottled water depending on your package. NO FOOD IS ALLOWED outside the birthday room or café area. NO homemade food is permitted.

What assistance do you provide in the party room?
A lot! First, the party room is cleaned and set up for you with your cake, Birthday Child’s gifts, and other decor (goodie bags, balloons, etc). Our Staff will also be there to serve food & drinks for the children and will take care of cleanup. Of course, we’ll check in with you from time to time to see if you need anything too.

Do I Tip my Party Helper?
We ask for a minimum tip of 10% for your party helper, they go above and beyond to make your experience great and stress free.


Will the party room be available for us during our party play time?
Yes, your private party room is available to you and your guests for the entire time of your scheduled party. Because all of our party rooms are private and there will usually be another party before you and after you, please be punctual and respectful of your 2-hour window.


I need to book a larger party
For larger groups, please call us about options we offer. A private party is recommended for groups expecting more than 10 kids and are based on availability.  

Can I book a party that is longer than 2 Hours?
For special requests or extended party hours, please call us! We can discuss specific options that may best accommodate your needs/requests. 30mins or 1 hour extensions may be available for your time slot.

What if I am late for my scheduled party time?  What if my Guests are late?
We understand that things happen. However, your private party is to be held at the scheduled event time. To maintain private parties, we are not able to extend or modify your event’s schedule without at least a 10-day notice of the changes. 

Do I need to stay at the party?
Yes! The party host is required to stay at the party until your last guest departs.

Can I use my own decorations and/or paper products in the party room?
Yes! You’re welcome to use your own decorations and/or paper products in the party room. To preserve the integrity of our party rooms, decorations are limited to tabletop decor and You may decorate the large cork board in the birthday room. We DO NOT permit Silly String, Confetti, Glitter, Slime, Paint, Sparklers or Pinatas.

What if less/more kids show up on the day of the party after I have placed my pizza, balloons or goodie bag order?
Food & other party resources are prepped prior to your event based on the details provided by you. We may adjust your Party Package UP (NOT DOWN) on the day of the event.  Goodies bags will be based on availability.

Healthy Snack Cafe

Ready. Set. Play. offers many healthy snacks and beverage options for both children and adults. Combining play time with snack time has never been easier! Keep playing! Grab a quick snack at our snack cafe and continue to play. (No food/Beverage is allowed in any of the play areas)
